Cake In A Cup: Chocolate Protein Mug Cake


Welcome to Nary's Kitchen, the healthy cooking show for gym enthusiasts called Fit Club! Today we're whipping up a delicious and healthy treat that's perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without derailing your fitness goals: a chocolate protein mug cake.



Ingredients:

1 ripe banana

1 egg

3 tbsp almond flour

1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 scoop (30g) chocolate protein powder

1-2 tbsp Krisda chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions:

In a small bowl, mash the banana until it is smooth.

Add in the egg, almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla extract, and chocolate protein powder, and mix until everything is well combined.

Stir in the Krisda chocolate chips (if using).

Pour the mixture into a microwave-safe mug.

Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, or until the cake is fully cooked and no longer gooey in the center.

Serve immediately, garnished with additional Krisda chocolate chips, if desired.

From 21-Day Challenge to 1000 WOs: My Fitness Journey at Fit Club


๐Ÿ‘‹ Hi everyone! This is Joanne Dioko on the blue aka THUNDER. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ I just completed 1000 WOs in 14 months! Let me tell you how my fitness journey started at Fit Club North.


In August 2021, I signed up for a 21-day challenge and met Maria Duschnisky. She became like a mother to me and a big influence in pursuing a healthy lifestyle. I signed up for a year at Fit Club, started doing 2 classes with Coach Jen at 5am, and overcame personal challenges and doubts.


I upgraded from 2WOs to 3WOs and joined the Belly Burn Challenge, Lean Machine Group, and Midmorning Family under Coach RJ. Thunder was born! I even challenged myself to 12 virtual workout replays in one day!


I experienced 3 massive changes during my fitness journey:


My connection with God became even stronger.

My physical strength and energy increased significantly.

I became more humble and grateful for everything.

The 3 factors to success are consistency, focus, and determination. I'm grateful to my family, Fit Club, and my coaches for their support.


To my past self, thank you for not giving up and for believing in yourself. ๐Ÿ‘
