Looking for a great way to explore Winnipeg's vibrant Exchange District and trendy Corydon neighborhood? Lace up your walking shoes and hit the pavement with this active walking path that takes you on a journey through some of the city's most exciting and historic areas.


Route:

  1. Start your walk at the iconic intersection of Portage Avenue and Main Street in the heart of the Exchange District.

  2. From there, head south on Main Street and take a right onto McDermot Avenue. Admire the beautifully preserved architecture and colorful murals as you walk down this historic street.

  3. Turn left onto Albert Street and continue walking until you reach Broadway. Take a right and follow the bustling street as it winds its way towards the vibrant Corydon neighborhood.

  4. As you pass through the lively area, take a moment to explore the eclectic mix of shops, cafes, and restaurants that line the street.

  5. When you reach the intersection of Corydon Avenue and Stafford Street, take a left and continue walking until you reach Harrow Street. Turn right and walk for a few blocks until you reach the leafy green space of Crescent Drive Park.

  6. Take a stroll through the park and enjoy the scenic views of the river before making your way back towards Corydon Avenue.

  7. Follow Corydon Avenue west until you reach the intersection of Corydon and Wilton. From there, you can either turn back and retrace your steps to the Exchange District, or continue on to explore more of Winnipeg's exciting neighborhoods.
