Lemon Ginger Detox Shot


Ingredients:

  • 1 inch of fresh ginger root

  • 1/2 fresh lemon, juiced

  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder (or 1/2 inch of fresh turmeric root)

  • A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

  • 1-2 tablespoons of water (to dilute, if needed)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ginger and Turmeric:

    • Grate or finely chop the ginger root.

    • If using fresh turmeric, grate or finely chop it as well.

  2. Juice the Lemon:

    • Squeeze the juice from half a lemon into a small bowl or shot glass.

  3. Mix the Ingredients:

    • Combine the grated ginger, lemon juice, turmeric powder (or fresh turmeric), and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl or shot glass.

    • Add a pinch of cayenne pepper if you want an extra kick and additional detox benefits.

  4. Dilute (Optional):

    • If the shot is too strong, add 1-2 tablespoons of water to dilute.

  5. Drink:

    • Stir the mixture well, then drink it in one go.

This detox shot is great for boosting your metabolism, aiding digestion, and supporting your immune system. It's best consumed in the morning on an empty stomach.
