We all know habits are everything.

But how do you create them?

Here’s one of the best methods.

First, attach something you enjoy doing with the habit you want to create.

Let’s say you want to start working out and love coffee.

Drink a cup of coffee before working out.

Second, do the new habit at the same time every single day for 14 days.

Commit to doing it for two full weeks no matter what.

You can quit after if you want but it will be very unlikely because you will have created a lot of momentum.

Attaching your new habit to something you enjoy at a very specific time is extremely powerful.

Instant gratification is the enemy.

Most people are addicted to it.

Decisions that feel good now aren’t the ones that will get you to your goals.

Sleeping in, eating junk food and eating desserts feels amazing immediately.

Working out and eating healthy feel amazing medium to long term.

Those first weeks are the hardest because you don’t get immediate gratification and can’t see the results.

You must stay strong mentally until you get momentum and start seeing your body change.

Then you’ll be motivated to keep going.
